About United Photographers Hong Kong
United Photographers Hong Kong (UPHK) is a registered photographic organisation with no religious or political affiliation. UPHK serves photographic communities through creating platforms for member photographers at their own time and pace to exchange ideas, learn from each other, advance photographic skills and enjoy photography. UPHK carries “Hong Kong” in its name, with the vision of building a photographic organisation with Hong Kong local cultural characteristics. The “United” as its name reflects our values in inclusion and integration. With passion, UPHK serves the society by promoting photography as an art form.
Founded by a group of photography enthusiasts, UPHK is a non-profit making organisation, funded by sponsors and donations by fellow photographers. We hold local and overseas photographic activities and tours, academic seminars, photographic courses, photographic exhibitions (salons) and photographic competitions. Anyone interested in photography are welcome to join us as a UPHK member.
